On this, Mother's Day, 2020, did anyone in the world think that we would all be in apprehension of getting something that was contagious and deadly?
The people of the Mediterranean mid 1300's were just as apprehensive about their daily reality as we are.
When I posted Boccaccio's Decameron I never thought it would ring true for the times we are living in. I wanted to post something that seemed mysterious and not often read anymore, It took me a while to synthesize the stories the way I understood them--not the way some professional editor would. I found these stories very human and with a decidedly down to earth, sexy reality.
Life is abundant and will revive and be safe again to live LUSCIOUSLY!
I hope you have a wonderful Mother's Day with whoever your mother is!
