1 pint of whipping cream
½ cup butter
1 ½ cups of parmesan cheese
Add all together and cook over medium/low heat until smooth—about 15 minutes. Sauce will thicken upon standing.
This is a simple but satisfying sauce over any pasta. Make sure you use excellent quality parmesan or asiago cheese.
